​Professor Krawczynski works on experimental and theoretical astroparticle physics. His work aims at revealing the inner workings of astrophysical black holes, and using black hole and neutron star observations for testing the theory of General Relativity and the Standard Model of Particle Physics in regimes not accessible in terrestrial laboratories.

Professor Pastore's research is focused on understanding how nuclear properties emerge from the underlying nucleonic dynamics, with the broader goal of contributing to ongoing experimental efforts in nuclear physics, fundamental symmetries, and neutrino physics.

Dr. Adam's current research explores the complex and surprising ways electrons behave when they are subject to the interplay of quantum mechanics, material imperfections, confined geometries and interactions with other electrons.

Professor Dickhoff's research concentrates mostly on the solution of the nuclear many-body problem. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in quantum mechanics, nuclear and particle physics.

Medeiros does research on models of particle dark matter and their astrophysical implications.

Brian Rauch's research focus is in cosmic ray astrophysics. He was involved in ultra-heavy galactic cosmic ray (UHGCR) research with the Trans-Iron Galactic Element Recorder (TIGER) experiment as an undergraduate and graduate student, with SuperTIGER as a postdoc and research scientist, and is now the Principal Investigator (PI) for SuperTIGER-II. 

Professor Seidel is working on the theory of quantum many-body systems in condensed matter physics. His main interests lie in strongly correlated systems, where new phenomena emerge that cannot be understood even at a crude level without properly taking into account the interactions between particles.

Theoretical physics of ecology and evolution

Dr. Chuanwei Zhang’s research interests include theoretical ultracold atomic gases, quantum information processing, photonics, topological quantum materials, and 2D materials.

Xi Wang’s lab utilizes cutting-edge magneto optical and optoelectronic microscopy and spectroscopy to probe and control excitons, electrons, phonons, magnons et al. in quantum materials for applications in quantum simulation and quantum communication.
