Abraham Flores is interested in developing a general predictive framework for nuclear bound and unbound systems. His work uses quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) methods to compute single nucleon scattering from various nuclei. He is also adapting the current nuclear QMC code base for its implementation to the new generation of supercomputers.
