Dr. Haber's research focuses on dense nuclear and quark matter which is expected to exist in the cores of neutron stars.
He studies the interplay between superfluidity and superconductivity in these exotic phases of matter, including the role of magnetic fields. He is also working on improving our understanding of how nuclear matter behaves in the violent turmoil of a neutron star merger.
