General Physics I

PHYSICS 205

General Physics I is the first semester of a two semester, calculus-based introductory physics course. Topics include kinematics, Newton's laws, energy, momentum, rotations, oscillations, waves, and fluids. Students should also enroll in General Physics I Lab, unless their course of study does not require the physics lab. This course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical program. Others may register with instructor permission, and on a space available basis. Previous or concurrent enrollment in Calculus I (Math 131) is required.
