Physics Theory Seminar with Pedro Machado on Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions and Connections to BSM
Pedro Machado (Hosted by Pastore) from Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory will be presenting the seminar "Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions and Connections to BSM"
In this talk, I will describe how a better understanding of neutrino-nucleus interactions will enable novel searches in neutrino experiments and will boost experimental sensitivities to many beyond standard scenarios. I will focus on the phenomenological aspects of neutrino-nucleus interactions, and identify key aspects that are directly relevant to neutrino experiments. For concreteness, I will focus on he physics case of liquid argon time projection chambers, that is, DUNE and the SBN program.
