Physics Theory Seminar with Gustavo Alves on New limits on W_R from meson decays

Gustavo Alves (Hosted by Dev) from the University of São Paulo will be presenting the seminar on "New limits on W_R from meson decays"

In this talk we will discuss how to use Pseudoscalar meson leptonic decay data to set stringent limits on the mass of a right-handed vector boson, such as the one that appears in Left-Right symmetric models. For heavy neutral leptons in the mass range 50 < m_N /MeV <1900 one can constraint m_{WR} > (4 − 19) TeV at 90% CL. This provides the most stringent experimental limits on the W_R mass to date for this HNL mass range.
