Physics Colloquium with Erik Henriksen
Erik Henriksen (Hosted by Li Yang) from Washington University in St. Louis will be presenting a talk on "Atomically thin materials from quantum spin liquids to quantum steampunk" at the Colloquium.
Henriksen will review recent work on, and future ideas for, the science and technology of atomically thin materials in the Henriksen lab. This includes the ongoing pursuit of signatures of quantum spin liquid phenomena in a-RuCl3 and other materials; continued adventures in infrared magnetospectroscopy; and progress toward a practical superfluid-He4-based Josephson junction for new, neutral quantum technologies.
