Second Nuclear and Particle Theory Meeting

May 11-12, 2020

The Department of Physics and the McDonnell Center for the Space Sciences invite you to attend the second edition of the “Nuclear and Particle Theory Meeting”  held May 11-12, 2020. This small and informal meeting is meant to bring together the dense matter and neutron star theory community and experts of adjacent fields with the scope of fostering new collaborations.

The objective  of this second meeting is to discuss and exchange ideas on recent research topics in nuclear and particle physics, with the special focus on dense matter in neutron stars and binary neutron star mergers.

This initiative will also be beneficial to local post-docs and students as they will be exposed to the current research programs.

Talks will be held on Monday and Tuesday.
