Hannah McCall selected for Harriet K. Switzer Leadership Award

The Women’s Society of Washington University initiated its Leadership Award in 1998 (renamed the Harriet K. Switzer Leadership Award in 2007) to recognize outstanding graduating senior women who have made a significant contribution to Washington University in St. Louis during their undergraduate years and have demonstrated exceptional potential for future leadership. Drs. Mairin Hynes and Manel Errando nominated physics major Hannah McCall for the 2020 Harriet K. Switzer Leadership Award. Hannah was one of two students chosen from among an extremely strong field of candidates. The contributions Hannah has made as an outstanding scholar and as an effective campus leader qualifies her as most deserving of this award.

Normally, the award recipient is honored at the Women’s Society’s annual membership meeting in April. Unfortunately, this year’s meeting has been cancelled, so please find alternate ways to congratulate Hannah on her outstanding achievement.
