A Black Hole Disrupts a Passing Star

Space Sciences/Astrophysics Seminar with Shuo Zhang

Shuo Zhang (Hosted by Manel Errando) from Michigan State University's Department of Physics & Astronomy will be presenting a seminar on Astrophysical sciences

Dr. Zhang focuses on observational high-energy astrophysics and particle astrophysics – including supermassive black holes, Galactic cosmic-ray origin, and large dataset analysis. Before joining the MSU faculty in July 2023, she was an Assistant Professor at Bard College from 2020-2023, a NASA Hubble Fellow from 2019-2020, and a postdoctoral scholar and Heising-Simons Fellow at the Massachussetts Institute of Technology.
