III. COURSE PREREQUISITES

Knowledge of Special Relativity at the level of Physics 118, and Mechanics at the level of Physics 411 are desirable.

IV. GRADE: will be based on the following algorithm:

Homework Assignments (6)             60%

Final Examination                              40%

Late problem sets will be penalized at the rate of 1% of the maximum grade per weekday late.
